DESCRIPTION:The City of Fort Mitchell and Best Way Disposal will hold its annual LARGE Item Pickup Day on Saturday\, April 17\, 2021.\n\n\n– This is a city-wide\, one-day collection.\n\n\n– Place items at the curb the night prior on Friday. This day is NOT to be used for regular trash disposal. All mattresses and upholstered furniture should be completely wrapped in plastic.\n\n\n– EXAMPLES OF LARGE ITEMS COLLECTED:\nFurniture\, large quantities of brush and tree trimmings bundled and cut less than 4 feet\, appliances.\n\n\n– EXAMPLES OF LARGE ITEMS NOT COLLECTED:\nBrush or tree limbs if not neatly bundled and cut less than 4 feet\, refrigerators if the Freon hasn’t already been removed\, pianos\, construction debris\, tires.\n\n\n– Every year certain items/piles are left uncollected due to various stipulations. If you have questions about particular items\, please confirm with Best Way Disposal at 859.372.4900.

DESCRIPTION:The City of Fort Mitchell will be celebrating Arbor Day on Saturday\, April 24\, 2021 from 8:00am – 12:00pm in front of the Community Garden next to the city building\, 2355 Dixie Highway. \nThe Tree Board will be handing out 13 different varieties of native trees via a drive-through with the option of walking up to the giveaway. \nEnter from Dixie Highway and exit on Silver Avenue as this will be one-way during the event. \nWe will be following COVID safety protocols.
