The Wall of Honor is the highest honor given to a person (citizen, employee, resident, volunteer) who has given exemplary service to our city.
The Wall of Honor was created to honor and recognize outstanding individuals who have unselfishly and diligently served the City of Fort Mitchell based on: service to the city and community organizations, length of service in various capacities, and how their work has benefited the community.
This year’s recipients include:
– William E. Brown (Fire Department)
– Philip R. Dietz (Fire Dpartment)
– Jeffrey P. Eldridge (Police Department)
Brown, Dietz, and Eldridge will have their names engraved on the granite wall in front of the city building thanks to Lewin Monuments, located at 2218 Dixie Highway in Fort Mitchell.
Kentucky State Senator Chris McDaniel and Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney Rob Sanders will be the guest speakers. The event is open to the public and will be followed by a short reception. Past inductees are invited to attend the event.
